Craig England grew up near the Oklahoma panhandle in the town of Buffalo, where the high school mascot was the Bison. When he came out to his family as a teenager, his father told him that as long as he was happy—even with a circus performer—he would be happy for him.

Craig has worked in banking for over twenty years, and currently works for Heartland Payments as a territory manager. He serves as the Abbess (President) of Sisters of the Sacred Heartland, which is a local chapter of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, an organization founded in 1979 that performs community service and raises money for HIV/AIDS outreach and LGBTQ charities. His sister name is Mary Fallin from Grace.

Craig has two old weenie dogs named Dharma (the good form of karma) and Romeo, as well as an amazing boyfriend. They winter in Edmond and summer at their pool in Oklahoma City.

Tessa White

I am a proud transgender female and was born in Oklahoma City but grew up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I moved back to Oklahoma City in 2009 and have been a part of our amazing LGBTQ+ community ever since.

I am the proud parent of five children, to include two sets of adorable and crazy twins !!!

I am a United States Marine Corps Veteran and a retired Detective Sergeant from the Seacoast Region of New Hampshire. I am currently the owner of an HVAC business that mainly serves the LGBTQ+ community and our allies,  soon to be renamed, “Hey Girl Hey” Heat and Air.

I cannot even begin to express the endless pride I feel toward our lgbtq+ community, especially here in Oklahoma City.  Becoming the president of OKC Pride on 39th is something I never anticipated and I couldn’t be more proud to fulfill such an important role. I have become who I am largely due to my time spent on 39th Street !! I know I don’t need to say this, but no one could possibly be more proud of our gay district than I am.

My Favorite Pride Experience:

While marching in my first Oklahoma City Gay Pride Parade, I came over the Crest of the last hill on 39th street, when I saw the endless sea of rainbow waiting to greet us,  I absolutely broke down in tears. I had mascara streaming down my face and I knew I must have looked awful.  A  kind stranger hugged me, handed me a paper towel  and said, "Honey,  you definitely need this, hurry and wipe your face !!!”

Community Experience:

Former Vice President, Oklahoma City Pride on 39th

Former Vice President of PFLAG OKC

Board Member, The Oklahoma City Diversity Center

Board Member and Guard, Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, Oklahoma City

LGBTQ+ Advisor at the Veterans Hospital in Oklahoma City on LGBTQ+ related issues

Former Board Member, Diversity Business Association, Oklahoma City

Former Oklahoma City Pride Parade Co-Chair

Member of the National Leather Association

I have been the guest speaker at numerous transgender events and have facilitated numerous transgender support group meetings within Oklahoma City and the surrounding areas.

I’ve lived here in Oklahoma City since mid 2014. I went to Oklahoma State University and moved here shortly after. I have been out and involved with this great community since the day I moved here and even before.
