About the event

Celebrate the start of Pride Weekend with purpose and pride at the OKC Pride Opening Ceremony on Friday, May 30th at 6:00 PM. Gather with community and allies as we raise the flag and hear inspiring words from Mayor David Holt*, Senator Julia Kirt, Representative Ellen Pogemiller, and OKC Pride President Tessa White. This evening of reflection, recognition, and resilience sets the tone for a weekend of visibility, joy, and momentum for change. All are welcome—come stand proud with us.

*Mayor Holt will officially proclaim pride for the seventh consecutive year, but may ask someone else to read the proclamation at this event if a conflict arises with the OKC Thunder playoff schedule.
